Nolan’s 1st birthday wasn’t quite as I had imagined. Colds and the flu have still been lingering at our home, so we decided to postpone all festivities until we are all healthy. So we planned to have a quiet night at home with the Birthday boy . It was a very uneventful day as Nolan slept most of the day because he still can not kick his cough and congestion. In the evening we carved our pumpkins and had cupcakes for Nolan . . . it didn’t seem right to let the day pass without something!!! Poor baby, if he wasn’t feeling icky enough, the only highlight of his day was his cupcake and what did he do? He grabbed the candle right away and burned himself! What a rough 1st birthday! So the only 2 pictures (poor quality) I have of Nolan on his 1st birthday are before & after shots of his candle grabbing drama. The poor little guy can’t catch a break. Happy Birthday sweet Nolan, I hope your party can turn this day around. We love you!
