Holly described this day as a gift. “A little patch of sun amidst a very stormy time.” Last night the results of Kate’s Pet scan came back. As far as the scan goes, the tumor looks malignant and aggressive. Of course, not the news they (or we) were hoping for. So to have Kate in good spirits, thoroughly enjoying her day was a gift to everyone. She played in the playroom, dance and sang, made the doctor dance for her, ate lots of yummy food, took many pictures, laughed and bossed everyone around.
