Ever have one of those days where you reevaluate your parenting skills? Yep. Please say there is someone else out there. Well, today was one of those days for me. The boys and I and a friend of Braden’s went out for lunch and then headed over to a friend’s pool. We sat down at our table and the three older boys went to pick out their pizza (it was a pizza buffet – a boy’s dream come true). Anyway, I followed Ethan to make sure he was going to do okay, much to his dismay I might add, and watched as he did everything with skill and ease. Soooo, the next time he wanted to go up for salad, I had no hesitation in letting him. After Ethan had rejoined us at the table, a few minutes later a waitress (not our own) came over to our table and paused for a second. Then looked at me and said, “um mam, we have had to replace many of the salad bar items because your son would lick the serving spoon after he placed the items on his plate and a customer complained.” Oh Ethan.
